After acquiring right-hander Vance Worley from the Phillies last week in the Ben Revere trade, the Twins have added another starting pitcher.
CBS Sports? Jon Heyman reports that the Twins and right-hander Kevin Correia have reached agreement on a contract. ESPN?s Jerry Crasnick hears that he?ll get $10 million over two years.
Correia, 32, posted a 4.21 ERA and 89/46 K/BB ratio over 171 innings with the Pirates this past season. Per our own Aaron Gleeman, he has the lowest strikeout rate among right-handed pitchers since 2011. So, uh, get excited, Twins fans!
