The longer I practice the more I see how important it is to continue to stay active, to move. Even sitting at a desk all day, staring at a computer can be really deleterious to your health. That?s why October is physical therapy month. It?s a good way to remember that despite the aches and pains that arise inevitably over the course of your life physical therapy is there to help your body heal through proper movement, posture, stretching and strengthening. It?s also a great way to avoid getting injured for athletes and non-athletes alike. So let October be a new resolution month and remember to get out and move.
