Cornwall may still be in the depths of winter but at one garden in Mawnan Smith they are already preparing for their annual ?flower focused charity amble.
The third annual Daffodil Walk will take place on Saturday, February 16 at Glendurgan Gardens and aims to raise funds for Marie Curie Nurses.
Organised by Falmouth Fundraising Group, the six mile walk covers some of the most picturesque scenery north of Helford and starts and ends in the gardens.
Lucy Seale, secretary of the group said: ?We hope many people will sign up to burn off the calories collected over the festive period, and help us raise some funds for Marie Curie Nurses in Cornwall. ?The walk is such fun and is a great day out for family and friends to enjoy together.?
The entry fee for the event is ?10 for adults and ?5 for children over the age of five.
Anyone taking part is asked to try and raise as much sponsorship as possible for Marie Curie Nurses, who care for the terminally ill.
To register for the walk contact the Marie Curie Cancer Care Fundraising Office on 01872 260 500 or email cornwallvolunteers@mariecurie.org.uk
